A world with no money and no way to feed the Young ones. Can you picture a parent that is not able to provide for their children because of the economy? There is no jobs and no one out there can’t help you because they have to first figure out how to help themselves. The Great Depression was an important event that impact the majority of the people where in the need of help. Occurring on October, 1929, and continuing through most of the 1930s. The Great Depression was and economic crisis period in which the United States and other countries got impact. There was many events that help bring this economic crisis however, one that stands out is the crashing of the stock market. The Great Depression had a major impact on the world because of the events, the course and the effects.
The causes of the catastrophe of the Great Depression involved money. First, the stock market crash. This occurred because the male investors when crazy and started to invest heavily in the stock market. The stock markets started to rise without declined the people felt safe to invest their money to make a quick dollar. Later on professional investors sense a conflict they began to sale their shares while the other investors sold out their shares to be able to pay the interest . Both investors activities cause the stock market to crash. The stock market lead a problem with the bank. Because of the stock market there was no way the bank could now function properly. The bank had lend speculators money. Which meant that when the stock market crash the speculators were unable to paid what belong to the bank back. Not only the speculators where the problem but the bank had faith in the stock market therefore, the bank had as well invested money. When the stock market crash all their investment vanish. The bank employees started to doubt the banks so this cause them to removed all their savings. In the income Disparity the people started to lose their jobs. Machines took over their jobs. This cause them to get fired or to lower their incomes. It all started because of the financial problems of the stock market and lead to something bigger that we called the Great Depression.
Many people got effected by the Great Depression. Those who took it hard where th civilians living in that economy. There was all type of workers. Workers who work in farms and others who work in companies, or factories. These people and others participated in hunger marches. The farmers started to revolt.

El hombre Lobo

Era un día oscuro Chávelo no podía dormir. El había tenido una pesadilla. En su pesadilla había un hombre lobo. Ese era el rumor. Supuesta mente el hombre era muy grande y fuerte. Tenía la barba cerrada y era muy serio. Cuando caminaba por su sueño una viejita le dijo que ese hombre era un demonio que mata a la gente en cada luna llena. Chávelo se quedo muy sorprendido pero estaba muy confundió para preguntas preguntar. Chávelo no le creía nada. Pero después Chávelo se había perdido en el bosque. En el bosque nunca había mirado una cosa tan rara. Todos los animales del bosque se empezaron a correr para el lado que Chávelo había venido. Cuando siguió caminando miro al mismo hombre que decían que era un demonio que se convertía en otra figura. Chávelo miro para arriba y la luna era luna llena. El hombre se había tirado al suelo. Era como si un ataque de corazón. Después su cuerpo se empezó a cambiar muy rápido. Se puso peludo como un perro pero la única diferencian eran sus dientes. Sus dientes los tenía largos como un lobo y brillaban de lo filoso que estaban. Chávelo empezó a correr. El nunca había corrido tan rápido en su viva. El hombre lobo lo correíto cuando oleo su olor. El hombre lobo era muy rápido y feroz. Al final el hombre lobo alcanzo a Chávelo. Pero no lo mato. Chávelo le pregunto, quien eres? y simple mente él le dijo soy un desastre de dios. Al final el hombre se fue corriendo y se perdió en la oscuridad del cerro. Cuando chávelo ya se había despertado de su sueño corrió a su ventana y miro asea fuera la luna era luna llena. Auhhhhhhhhh auhhhhhhhhh Chávelo escucho y se metió a su cama pero no se pudo dormir.

Two Different Perspectives on Religion

Religion is always a big factor in someone’s culture. The main reason behind religion is to follow the one who is chosen as your savior , in this case God. However, not everyone thinks the same which creates different points of views among all human beings. One way to prove this fact is by looking at Bradstreet’s and Edward’s context. Bradstreet writes a poem about how God took away what she own. God took her house by burning it down, this impact Bradstreet because all her belongings that at one point were so valuable to her were gone in the flames However, by him taking away all the valuable objects that she really cherish she found out that at the end, they were just dust. The true thing here is that instead of cherishing objects, she should of have cherish God . Although he took away her house on Earth, God always has a house waiting for all of us including her. This “house” is a metaphor for heaven. In Edward’s context he describes God as the dominant one. In his point of view God is a punish er , he has the power to choose if you go to heaven or if you go to hell basically saying that God is the only person who could save you from hell. Therefore the only way that you could be saved your soul is by dedicating yourself to serve God. The technique that Edward uses to persuade his audience is fear. His objective is to put fear into his audience’s thoughts therefore they won’t believe in God.
Bradstreet a loyal man that looks at God as a man of wisdom. In Bradstreet passage it says “ yet by his gift is made shine oath. Ther’s wealth enough.” God knows when he is being kind and that’s by giving him the gift to be wise. He knows how wise Bradstreet is . “No pleasant tale shall be told nor things recounted done of old. ” This shows how Bradstreet is talking about how God will always be undefeated. If you made mistakes in the past and he sees that you are truly sorry, he will not judge you for them. Thus, Edward has a different view on God, “there is a dreadful of the growing flames of the wrath of God, there’s hell wide gapping mouth open”, Edwards looks at God as a man that you should fear and not cherish, that if you do not go to heaven then you automatically go to hell. Edward said,“ If one who those not get chosen by God or at least attempts to get forgiven by God, there is a door wide open to hell. Edward also mentions that,“ your wickedness makes you as if you were heavy as lead and tend downwards with great weight and pressure towards hell; if you are that who is wicked your path is to hell.” Edward only offers one solution unlike Bradstreet who gives you that sense that God gives you a chance to turn yourself around so you could achieve heaven.
Bradstreet also looks at God as a teacher, someone who will impart knowledge or skill into somebody else by example or instruction . In this case the lesson or example is the burning of all precious objects that belonged to Bradstreet. Bradstreet response to the burning of her precious items is “ didst fix thy hope on mutterings dust, the arms of flesh didst make dust” that all object, items and all precious belongings that a person cherishes, God made them of nothing but dust. Since God is the teacher he “thou, has a house on high erect fran’d by the mighty architect”, reminding us that although Bradstreet lost her home to the flames she still has a home up in the heavens. In the contrary, Edward makes God look like a punisher, someone that imposes a punishment on someone that committed a crime . Edward says, “ the God that’s holds you over the pit of hell”, meaning that God has you on the edge of his fingertip, he knows if you are going to heaven or going to hell. So Edward warns all those who are sinners to the eyes of God by telling them , “sinners consider the fearful danger you are in” , “ those who are sinners will be punish. God is the punisher.”
In conclusion, God is known as an extremely powerful being that is looked upon as a great man but also as a punisher. Although Edward’s and Bradstreet’s view on the role that God plays differs, people also hold the power to chose what path to follow or to change it if they have the need to do so. At the same time Edward makes a point, God does have the power to punish those who are truly wicked deep down inside their hearts but God also has the power to change lives and help people become more humble, you chose the path you want to take.

Religion is something that make humans have faith and one main key in faith is god. There is many religions that have there own culture and their certain god. This creates different opinions about god. In some cases god is the best thing that has ever happen to them in others god just does things causes he knows they are right he is the only perfect one in this world. In the story Bradstreet it says, Yet, by his gift is made shine oath. There’s Wealth enough. In Bradstreet god burn down her house and she blames it on her greediness. Therefore, by using this phrase it states that god did it cause he knows what’s right and his never wrong. Once she starts to reminisce she starts to actually know that her attitude toward he suppostly values was so ignorant she care about dust. She had forgot that everything she had belong to god. By Him burning down his house it made her realized that god is always there. Thus, in Edwards God is almighty if you don’t follow him you wont be save. “ There is a dreadful of the glowing flames of the wrath of god there is hell’s wide gaping mouth open.” This gives fear to once eyes. Following god will save you and nothing else can save you. Edwards gives a sermon that put fear into people and start talking about how one can go to hell. God is the only key for heaven . Both Bradstreet and Edwards have a believe in god however, they both view him a s a different persona.
